About Me
Before launching AMP’d Coffee & Guitars, I spent over twenty years in the corporate world. It paid the bills, but guitars were always what I came home to. I’ve been setting up and fine-tuning instruments on and off for about a decade—mostly for friends, local players, and a few bands I’ve gotten to know over the years. What started as a personal obsession with getting my own guitars to play perfectly slowly grew into helping others do the same.
Now, after years of working out of garages and spare rooms, I’ve finally built a permanent home for that passion. At AMP’d, I focus on precision setups, fretwork, and clean, reliable electronics—not heavy structural or cosmetic repairs, just the work that makes a great guitar feel its absolute best.
I’m not a touring tech or a big-name repair guy, and that’s fine by me. I’ve always cared more about the guitars in our community—the ones being played at open mics, local bars, or just at home on the couch. AMP’d is a space where music, coffee, and craftsmanship come together. You can grab a cup, talk gear, and watch the bench in action.
For me, this isn’t just a business—it’s a full-circle moment. After twenty years behind a desk, I’m finally doing what I love every day: bringing guitars back to life and helping players fall in love with their instruments all over again.
